We had our day at Bear Lake this weekend. Friday was very windy, but thanks to Ashley and Spencer they brought with them a 3 person tube that was a ton of fun. My sister and her family came up as Jessica wanted to water ski so bad. Well we didn't get any water skiing in, but the tube was a blast. Grandpa and I even let Chase take us for a spin or two. Chase was able to get the overflow at the Boy Scout Aquatic Camp and that's where we pitched our camp. The kids had fun playing in the water and the sand. Here are a few posts of our Bear Lake trip.

We're sad that we didn't get to come this year. But I'm pretty sure that the tube would have been a *bit* much for little Hunter.
Gabe however would be crushed to realize everyone had so much fun without him (we'll have to keep it a secret for now....)

P.S. On a similar note - Gabe is gearing up for this year's ski season. A couple of days ago I read him a story about snow. He got all excited and ran into where his snow boots were at. He brought them to me and told me he wanted to go skiing with Dad and Grandpa. It took my mom and I a significant amount of time explaining to him that he can't ski without snow, but that this winter we'd be sure to have some fun on the slopes :). So come this year's ski season Gabe is raring to go!
My kids did the same thing last year, and we had to explain to them as soon as they see lots of snow on the mountains, we could go. not just a little on the tips.
